I have very low opinion of the SCOTUS as a result of the net work that's breaking apart the Constitution and people's lives.
The USA is supposed to be built upon checks and balances.
Seems like the Court can't reach opinions that common people would understand, and if these people do see that the Democracy is breaking, and the breaking is due in some way to what comes out of the Court, some continue to think that SCOTUS opinions are sanctified and will hence be unchecked.
It's OK if SCOTUS tosses away laws that have been in place for years. SCOTUS is one of three pillars and they ignore the continuous breaking of the Constitution which supports a malevolent executive and a legislature that forgot it's role.
If We the People don't like what SCOTUS is doing we will have to find a way to break through Congressional current seating to check the executive and eventually gain new strength to enlarge the court to create more balance within the court, to and reform the opinions coming out of the Court that break apart the lives of 'We the People"
Another intriguing delve! I would argue that the presence of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett has allowed the Chief Justice to become more blatantly partisan … but that’s beyond the scope here.
(I would also argue that in the future, only judges with one- syllable names be nominated in courteous consideration of one-finger typists.)

Roberts has always been pretty far to the right in my eyes except for a few instances. He is the clearest institutionalist in this way in my book.
True. It just seems more obvious now … seems at least to me. I confess, though, I had not looked at the Court that closely until recently.
